Snippets from the causes dear to Sherley Singh
She actively worked towards the removal of an illegal security office near the Irla nullah, which caused flooding during the monsoon.
She recently fought to keep a recreation ground open for the public. She has also opposed the MMRDA's Metro II project along with other residents of the area.
Her public welfare activities go well beyond all this. Under the banner of the Nagriksatta Ward 63, Sherley Singh along with many residents got 540 children enrolled to the Gandhigram Municipal School opposite ISCKON. Sherley Singh assures that this school will be run as efficiently as any private institute.
Sherley can relate to the issues faced by people of Ward 64 as she has worked closely with Adolf D'Souza, the city's first Citizen Corporator.
